Wilson Whirligigs: January

Back in January, Laura and I ran East to Wilson to check out the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park. The park is quite cool. It's the obvious draw downtown Wilson—for now.

There's some fun stuff coming to Downtown Wilson around the park. As the sunset got muddier than I'd hoped, Laura and I grabbed a pint at 217 Brew Works. We learned about the pizza place going in next door, the potlucks at the brewery, food trucks, etc.

We'll be back—for more than just another shot at interesting whirligig shots. Until then, here's a taste of what I did get from the first trip.
